Free Slurpees At 7-Eleven Today, July 11 (YES PLEASE!)

With temperatures expected to rise across the metro region, today is a perfect day for an ice-cold Slurpee — free of charge.

To celebrate the national convenience store's namesake, 7-Eleven on Wednesday (July 11) will offer free Slurpees between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
"Free Slurpee day may be the most anticipated day of the year for millions of 7‑Eleven customers and new customers alike," Raj Kapoor, 7‑Eleven's senior vice president said in a press release. "7‑Eleven Day is a celebration, not only of our birthday, but more importantly, of our customers."
This year's celebration will feature a few new Slurpee flavors, which include blue raspberry, pina colada, wild cherry, and Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries Slurpee.
Also, while picking up your free Slurpee, consider joining the 7Rewards program, which offers rewards customers a seventh 7-Eleven drink free after purchasing six Big Gulps, Iced Coffee, Slurpees or other fountain drink.

Mortgage applications for both home purchases and refinancings increased 2.5 percent last week on a seasonally adjusted basis, the Mortgage Bankers Association reported Wednesday. 10 Fastest Appreciating Housing Markets in the U.S. Residential home prices are set to appreciate at 4.4 percent nationally, over the next 12 months, according to  Veros Real Estate Solutions'  (Veros) VeroFORECAST that was released on Tuesday. However, housing markets out West are likely to see a much faster appreciation that the rest of the country, the forecast predicted. The latest quarterly forecast covers the 12 months from June 1, 2018, to June 1, 2019, and integrates data from 1,005 counties, 354 metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs), and 13,877 ZIP codes covering 82 percent of the U.S. population.
